Make It Yourself

Iced white chocolate mocha are very popular at cafes, but making them at home is easier than you might think. The first step is to combine the milk and the cocoa powder. Put them in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating for 15 seconds at a time until it is completely smooth. Now, heat the chocolate using a double boiler until it is completely melted. You can also do this by putting the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Set the bowl in a pan with about an inch of hot water. Heat the mixture on high for 15 to 30 seconds, stirring after each time. When it is melted, pour into your mocha cup and top with whipped cream. The milk will help thicken the coffee, so if you would like a thicker coffee, try adding milk powder or powdered milk to the coffee before heating it in the microwave. The mocha can be served plain, or you can top it with white or milk chocolate.
