To cook salmon without having to wash or soak it first, simply place the fillet in a skillet. Add a small amount of canola oil to the skillet. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the pan. Turn up the heat to medium high and place a lid on the skillet. Cook the salmon for 5 to 6 minutes on each side. The salmon should be flaky and cooked to your liking. To serve the salmon with potatoes, place the salmon on top of the potatoes and serve.
