How do I choose a pork shoulder?
I really like pork shoulder, but I’ve had a hard time figuring out how to prepare it. Most recipes I find online are usually way too complicated for me. So, I decided to come up with my own recipe. Here’s what I did. 1. Place the pork shoulder in a crockpot. Add some salt and pepper. 2. Turn the heat to low and leave it for 8-10 hours. 3. After the time is up, remove the pork and place in a large bowl. Allow the juices to settle for a few minutes. 4. Turn the heat up to medium and return the pork shoulder to the crockpot. 5. Cover the pot and allow it to simmer for another 1 1/2-2 hours. 6. Remove the pork shoulder from the crockpot. Allow it to cool a bit. 7. When the pork shoulder is cool enough to handle, shred it. 8. Put back into the crockpot and add the other ingredients. Turn the heat back up and simmer for 30-60 minutes. 9. Serve the pork shoulder over cabbage or green beans. I recommend serving with a fried egg, sliced bread, and caramelized onions.

How to make a slow cooker chicken
The slow cooker is a great way to get a meal on the table quickly. It saves time and makes it easier to prepare a meal. But some people have expressed concerns that the slow cooker can burn the food or overcook it. So, you may have to adjust the amount of time your meal takes in the slow cooker based on what you want to do with the food. For example, a slow cooker can take 3 hours for a chicken and pork shoulder. But a slow cooker is perfect for cooking a whole chicken at a low heat for around 4 hours. This type of cooking method can help keep the chicken tender and make the meat moist. Another advantage of using the slow cooker is that it creates a hot and dry environment, which helps prevent bacteria from growing in your food. So, you can make sure that your food is safe to eat while using a slow cooker. You can also use the slow cooker to make a chicken and pork shoulder. This recipe uses a 10.5 pound pork shoulder and 3/4 cup of apple juice. So, you need to cook this for 6 hours on low. This will provide enough time for the meat to cook and will also help it retain its juices. So, you can use this recipe for a bone-in pork shoulder. So, you should cut off any excess fat and leave the skin on. Put the pork shoulder into the slow cooker, and then pour in 3/4 cup of apple juice. Cook for 6 hours on low.
