Pumpkin cookies are a classic Christmas cookie, but this year, we are changing things up a bit and baking some festive pumpkin cookies that are loaded with whole30-compliant foods!
Tips
We have been cooking Whole30 to our whole family but to help my kids get into the spirit of the holidays, I am making some pumpkin cookies for them. Pumpkin cookies are healthy and yummy. The recipe includes these ingredients:
Taste Test
I have been doing Whole30 since the beginning of the year and have had the most luck with the Pumpkin Cookie. I know they don’t taste anything like real pumpkin, but I love how they turn out and what I think is an amazing texture.
What Is The Whole30?
The Whole30 is an eating program that’s based on the ideas of low-carb and low-fat. The Whole30 diet is a 30-day eating plan. It was created by Lauren E. Smith, who says, “The goal of The Whole30 is to reset your body, your metabolism, and your mind so you can enjoy healthy foods that really nourish you.” The program was created after Lauren discovered that low-carb diets made her lose weight but did not help her feel any better. It was during the Whole30 that she discovered how her body responded to certain foods and made a change to a healthier diet. It’s like changing your diet, but it’s been proven to have the same benefits as going on a diet. You don’t have to be on a strict diet during the 30 days. You can eat what you want, and you can make healthy choices while enjoying food.
