1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup organic whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cocoa butter
1/4 cup raw unsalted organic cane sugar
2/3 cup organic whole wheat flour
1/4 cup organic cane sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Place the unsweetened cocoa powder in a medium-sized bowl.
3. Add the organic canola oil, and stir with a fork until the mixture is well combined.
4. Sprinkle the organic cane sugar over the mixture.
5. Add the vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
6. Add the turmeric, and stir until well combined.
7. Whisk the coconut oil and the organic whole wheat flour together.
8. Add the combined dry ingredients to the cocoa powder mixture and stir well.
9. Mix in the organic whole wheat flour to the mixture until well combined.
10. Press the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish, and bake for 15 minutes.
11. Cool in the baking dish for 2 hours, then refrigerate overnight.
12. Break into small squares, and serve
