Make a simple baked chicken

A great way to get some nutrients into your kids is to bake whole chickens. You can choose to bake the chicken the night before, or the morning of. To make this chicken, you will need:
1 whole chicken
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
To make the chicken, you’ll need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Chop the chicken and throw it in a container. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Brush on the chicken and sprinkle the mixture on the chicken. Put the chicken in the oven and let it cook for 45 minutes.

Ingredients

2 onions, chopped
1/2 pound sweet peppers, chopped
1/2 pound red bell peppers, chopped
1/2 pound green bell peppers, chopped
1/2 cup garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dry basil
2 tablespoons oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 to 5 pounds of bone-in whole chicken

Directions

Ingredients
1 chicken (whole)
1/4 cup butter (room temp)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup water (room temp)
Mix together the salt, pepper, cayenne and butter until the butter is creamy. Add 1/2 cup of the flour, and mix thoroughly with the butter mixture. Continue to add the rest of the flour, mixing until the dough is too stiff to use a spoon. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out chicken pieces with cookie cutters. Cut a 1/4 inch deep slit in the back of each piece of chicken, and place on the lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until crispy. Remove and allow to cool.

Serve with rice or pasta

Ingredients:
• 2 pounds chicken
• ¾ cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• ½ teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 3/4 cup chicken broth
• 2 cups cooked rice or pasta
• Preparation:
• Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
• Place chicken in a shallow baking dish.
• Mix together the breadcrumbs, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce.
• Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over chicken.
• Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
• Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
• Serve over cooked rice or pasta.
