I never thought I would like a raw salmon recipe, but it’s actually one of my favorite salmon recipes! It’s actually an easy recipe to make, especially if you buy fresh salmon. However, if you can’t find fresh salmon, don’t worry, you can still make this recipe.

Since salmon is a fatty fish, it’s important to keep the temperature on the stove low so the salmon doesn’t dry out. Many restaurants recommend cooking salmon on medium heat for about 5 to 8 minutes on each side. To be safe, we’d recommend following the restaurant’s instructions. While you may be tempted to put the salmon on high heat, this will cause the salmon to get dry and tough. For salmon, the best temperature is about 140 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the same as a medium heat setting on the stove.
