And because we eat every day. We talked about her and the recipe that in recent weeks has literally been sweeping on TikTok and that it has become the star dish of the universe. And not because of an absurd fashion or because it is that Michelin star dish that you can make at home so that your family or friends freak out with you and your skill in the kitchen, but because of something as basic and simple as that it is a Very tasty pasta recipe, healthy, easy to prepare and perfect to do anywhere and anytime during the duration of a TikTok, or almost. We talk about pasta with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes.
Does it ring a bell, have you already heard something about it or have you seen it on social media? If so, it is more than likely that you have already prepared this dish at home, otherwise you are in luck because we are going to discover you step by step surely the most prepared recipe on the planet in the last month. We start at the beginning, his name: he is known simply as “feta paste“, uuni feta pasta or TiKTokPasta. If you want to make it yours then it is probably “my new favorite pasta dish”. This is how you will refer to him from now on.
Do not take pencil and paper because you will not need it. You only need cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and the pasta that you like the most: spaghetti, macaroni, fettucchine, tagliatelle, penne, fusioli -come on, whatever you have- and some herbs to give it color and an extra touch such as oregano, basil (we recommend fresh but dry works too), any other herbs or Italian spices you have on hand; plus a little pepper (freshly ground is always better) or paprika.
Now, for four people these are the measurements: 350 gr. of pasta, 300 gr of cherry tomatoes, a block of feta cheese (about 250 gr), ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, a couple of cloves if you like garlic, half a cup of fresh leaves of basil and the aromatic herbs that you fancy.
And this is how it is done:
Put the cherry tomatoes in an oven tray and sprinkle them with the EVOO, season with salt and pepper and add the spices, if you have decided to put garlic that is very minced, and the pepper or paprika together with a little salt. And it is baked for 20 minutes at 200º, or until you see that the tomatoes are done and the cheese is a little golden.
Once out of the oven you just have to mix the cheese and tomatoes well, which will be like soft butter and it will not cost you anything, and add the fresh basil chopped or broken by hand. And “voilá” the result is a super creamy sauce.
To finish, you just have to put the pasta that you have chosen previously cooked to your liking on top and mix everything so that the ingredients are well integrated. And to give it that touch of color, another bit of basil.

The authorship of the recipe is attributed to the Finnish blogger Jenni Hayrinen. It was in 2019, when Covid-19 did not yet exist, and already then it became very popular in his country, so much so that he even had a National Day, established on February 4. In 2020, in the midst of the wave of coronavirus, the recipe arrived in the United States and from America in this 2021 it has jumped to the entire planet, especially TikTok and other social networks through.
