Pizza Bread Ingredients
Ingredients: 5 (2-1/2 ounce) slices thick-cut, all-natural rye bread
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded cheese, such as mozzarella
6 slices pepperoni, chopped
1 (5-ounce) can pineapple tidbits
1 cup pizza crust mix, such as Tastykakes, if needed
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Top each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of the pizza sauce. Top each slice of sauce with 1 tablespoon of the cheese. Spread the pineapple tidbits on the sauce. Top with 6 of the pepperoni slices.
3. Spread a 1/4 cup of the pizza crust mix evenly on the pizza sauce. Bake the bread until the crust is golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.
4. Remove from oven, cut into slices, and serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping.

We can begin by heating a pizza pan over a medium flame. Add the olive oil to the pizza pan, then add the pizza dough. Allow the dough to cook for about 6 minutes, or until the crust is brown. Remove the pizza from the oven. You can add your favorite toppings to the crust now. I’m going to add cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms. The pizza can then be baked for another 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. When finished, the crust will be golden brown.

Pizza bread is a great treat for pizza night. This crust is easy to make and requires no yeast. This makes pizza bread perfect for a kid’s birthday party or a first date. To keep pizza bread fresh, it should be stored in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2-3 days. Because it is made with cold butter and cheese, the bread will lose some of its crispness. Pizza bread is not intended to be heated in the oven. It can be toasted in a toaster, however, as long as it is not in direct contact with the heating element.

Finally, cut the dough into 12 equal pieces. Then, pat each piece out to a rectangle shape, and place the bread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 500F for about 25 minutes, or until the bread is slightly golden.
