Health Benefits
There are many ways that you can make this chicken nugget recipe at home. One of the best ways is to use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Thighs tend to be healthier than breasts. They are also cheaper than breasts. They are also lower in calories, which means that you’ll be able to eat a lot more of them. The next step is to season the chicken with a spice mix. This is a good way to keep the chicken from getting too salty. The third step is to bake the chicken. To get the best results, you’ll want to bake the chicken at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. You can also bake the chicken in the oven, but you’ll need to spray the chicken with oil first to help prevent it from drying out.
Ingredients
1 chicken breast, diced
1 egg
½ cup flour
½ cup breadcrumbs
Cooking spray
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix breadcrumbs, egg and milk. When egg is combined with breadcrumbs, it begins to cook. You’re looking for a consistency where it will hold together but not be too thick. Once you’ve achieved this, add your chicken to the breadcrumb mixture. Using your hands, make sure the chicken is completely covered in the breadcrumbs. Pour the chicken into a plastic bag and store in the freezer. Once your chicken is frozen, bake in a dry oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Once you’re sure your chicken is cooked through, remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Be careful when handling the hot chicken. Once it’s cooled down, you’re ready to serve!
