You can make your own potatoes at home very easily. To do so, you will need a few ingredients. The first one is potatoes. You will also need potato masher, peeler, small pot or pan, and onion. Peel your potatoes and get your masher or potato masher. Put them in a pot and add enough water to cover them. Then cook them over medium heat until the water boils. The time depends on how many potatoes you want to make. When the potatoes are cooked, add about 1/4 tsp of salt to the pot. Then, mash the potatoes until they are about half their original size. For this step, you will need a potato masher. When the potatoes are mashed, add pepper, salt, butter, and a bit of cream. If you are eating them with mayo, then you can omit the cream.
