The Making Of Aunt Jemima Pancakes
Oh sure, pancakes are a favorite breakfast food, but nobody can resist a great Aunt Jemima pancake. To make the perfect Aunt Jemima pancake at home, you can start by making your Aunt Jemima pancakes. Add 2 eggs and 4 tablespoons of sugar, and let them sit for about 10 minutes. While you wait for the eggs to thicken, melt 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of flour in a skillet. Once the mixture is melted and mixed, add your egg mixture and mix well. Let them cook for about 2 minutes or until set. Don’t worry about overcooking the pancakes, Aunt Jemima pancakes are supposed to be a bit runny. And while you’re cooking, mix up your Aunt Jemima pancake mix. Add 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to 2 cups of pancake mix. You’ll need 1/3 cup of water and 1 cup of brown sugar. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes. Combine your pancake mix and water in a saucepan and cook over low heat. Let it simmer until the mixture is a bit thicker. Add butter, vanilla and cinnamon, and stir until the pancake mix is well combined. Let them cook in the pan for about 5-7 minutes or until brown.
Method
Take half a cup of butter, mix it with the 3 tbsp of coconut oil.
