Cooking the salmon
First, place the salmon into a heavy-duty plastic bag. Add the soy sauce and roll up the bag, sealing it. Place in a shallow dish. Add the garlic and sugar, and turn to coat the salmon in the mixture. Let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove from the marinade, and squeeze out any excess. Place the salmon onto a foil-lined, shallow baking dish. Turn the salmon fillet over, and brush the salmon with the olive oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until opaque. Serve with steamed rice.
How to cook salmon
First, rinse the salmon with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Rub the salmon with olive oil and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Cooking salmon
To make the best salmon you can get, start with fresh, wild, or farm-raised salmon. Wild salmon is a lot healthier than farmed. You can also add lemon, dill, or cayenne pepper. Heat up a skillet or grill pan over medium heat, add salmon, and cook for about three minutes per side. Remove the salmon and gently break the fillet into two pieces, ensuring you keep the skin on.

One of the ways to cook salmon is to marinate it in a mixture of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon, pepper and garlic. After that, you can grill the salmon and then toss it in a citrus mixture of orange juice, lemon juice, orange peel, and red pepper flakes.
