By baking it in its natural state, the salmon will not turn into a piece of charcoal. The only thing that will happen is that the salmon will be baked in its most natural state.
How to cook without using foil
And as a bonus, I’m going to show you a way to cook your salmon in the oven without using aluminum foil. That’s because you can still cook your salmon using aluminum foil! When you cook your salmon in the oven, you can use aluminum foil to cover the whole oven so that your food doesn’t get dried out. If you have the salmon skin on, like I did, you’ll have to cover the oven with the salmon skin as well. Otherwise, you won’t have enough surface area to be able to cook it all the way through. You’ll notice that you’re going to have to cover the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil because you can’t leave the oven open. This is a good thing because you don’t want any moisture to escape. If you use the stovetop, you can open the oven and stir your food occasionally, which is what I did. I simply turned the oven on and left the door open while I turned the stove on and then I turned the oven off and turned the stove off again. This may not work for you, but it worked for me.
