Salmon, Not Dead
Salmon is one of the healthiest fishes to consume. It’s high in vitamin D, which is important for bone health, and it’s a good source of omega 3 fats, which can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and improve brain function. There are two types of salmon — wild-caught and farmed. Wild-caught salmon is one of the healthiest sources of seafood, as it hasn’t been exposed to harmful chemicals and antibiotics. Farmed salmon is considered to be safe to eat as long as it’s not too processed. However, wild salmon has been found to contain levels of mercury that are unsafe for pregnant women, children, and individuals who are still growing. Therefore, it’s better to choose wild-caught salmon over farmed salmon.
Bake it
Once you have your salmon fillets, remove from packaging and place in a plastic bag. Put all of the air out of the bag and close it up. Remove the fillet and flatten it out a bit. Place it in the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can also sprinkle with dried dill, if you have it. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily. Allow to cool before serving.
How to cook salmon in the oven
