Best Way to Cook Pork Chops in Crock Pot

Cooking meats in the slow cooker is a great way to cook your pork chops without losing any of their flavor. This is because most of the time is spent steaming the meat instead of cooking it. Many people would use the oven to cook their pork chops, but you are only limited to preheating the oven. With the slow cooker, you can just set it on low and go about your day. Since there is no direct heat, there is a lower risk of burning the food.

The key is to use the right seasoning and then follow up by making a ginger brown sauce. Once the pork chops are in the crock pot, make sure that you make the brown sauce while the pork chops are cooking and allow it to reduce and thicken. 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Ingredients: Pork Chops, 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 2 teaspoons Onion Powder, 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 2 Tablespoons Water, 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter or Margarine, 1/4 cup Half-and-Half, 1/2 cup Mayonnaise, 1/2 teaspoon Paprika, 1/4 teaspoon Lemon Zest, 1/4 teaspoon Pepper. Instructions: 1. Place pork chops in crock pot. 2. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, pepper and onion powder on top of chops. 3. Pour water, butter, mayonnaise, half-and-half, lemon zest, paprika, and pepper over chops. 4. Cover and cook on low heat for 9-11 hours.
