How to make chuck shoulder roast on the stovetop?

Ingredients: 4 pounds of chuck shoulder roast
1 pound of thick-cut bacon (cut in half or into 1-inch pieces)
2 medium onions
2 garlic cloves
4 slices bacon fat (instead of cooking on stove, you can microwave it)
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
Directions:
