How To Smoke Duck Legs

Recently i smoked my first duck and was pretty happy with the results. Next time I will smoke chicken legs and make a tagine. I smoke at home and you don’t need to use a smoker. I found that a piece of wood works as a wonderful smoking tool. I also prefer to make a wood fire because it gives a much nicer flavour. I am not a fan of smokers. The oven does a really good job. The only thing you have to watch out for is to not over cook the legs. This will cause them to dry out. I smoke duck at 180C for 2 hours. It is best to keep the legs in the fridge for a couple of days.

Which Duck Legs Are Best

The best duck legs are those that have been smoked or lightly brined. These will be much juicier and more delicious. If you’re cooking smoked duck legs for a large crowd, freeze half of them, or even all of them, and then use them later in your cooking. When you reheat the duck legs, they will be even more tender and juicy. This is another way to use those smoked duck legs.

Restaurants are now giving people access to their menus so they can order anything they want. In fact, there are over 500 restaurants on the app Zomato that have access to over 3.3 million menu items. This can mean the difference between ordering a slice of pizza or having a meal prepared by the chef.

Why I Love Smoking Duck Legs

I grew up in Northern California, and I was raised on a diet of smoked meats. My dad and I would smoke the legs of ducks and geese. I still remember how these smoked meats would cook in the oven. With that said, I wanted to come up with a way to cook duck legs in the oven without smoking them. This is my adaptation of the traditional smoked duck legs recipe.

Already smoked turkey legs in the oven

If you have already smoked turkey legs, you know that you can enjoy them just like that, straight from the smoker. However, if you want to take it a step further, you can easily cook them right in your oven. Roasting turkey legs in the oven is a great way to cook them faster than you could using the smoker.
