Once you’re ready, you can get to work. Start by rinsing the salmon fillet under cool running water, then pat it dry. You’ll also want to trim the excess skin from the side of the fillet. Now, using your knife, score the skin on the back of the fillet. Place the fillet skin-side up on your cutting board. Take a knife and cut the skin along the score lines. Remove any excess skin. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Take a tablespoon and scoop the dressing into the gaps you made in the skin. Dribble the mixture over the fillet and spread the dressing out evenly over the skin. Sprinkle some salt on top of the dressing, then pat the skin with your hands to make sure it’s evenly covered.
