What would you do if you only had an hour to cook a meal for friends or loved ones? What if that hour was tomorrow and you had to prepare a pork fillet?
Meat
When it comes to meat, there are a lot of different kinds of meats. Some are leaner while others are more fatty. Here are some cooking tips for the different types of meats.
Turkey, Duck, Goose, Chicken
I would recommend buying the chicken breasts and putting them in the freezer. If you put the chicken in the freezer in a zip lock bag and then put the bag in a large ziplock bag, you will be able to store the meat for a month. Once you are ready to cook the chicken, you should remove the zip lock bag from the large ziplock bag. The large ziplock bag should be stored in the fridge. If you place the chicken breasts directly in the freezer, they will be very moist, which could lead to freezer burn. Once the chicken is cooked, you should put the breasts back into the large ziplock bag. Place the bag back in the freezer, and then you will be ready to use them.
Poultry
Poultry is lower in fat and cholesterol than red meat. It is a good source of protein, iron, zinc and phosphorus. Poultry is also lower in calories than red meat. It is good source of vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin, vitamin A and vitamin B12. You can prepare this easily.
Fish, Shellfish, Lobster, Shrimp
