Ahh, they’re one of my favorite snacks. I love them! It was so difficult for me to choose just one, but in the end, I settled on chocolate covered strawberry. The chocolate is so sweet, and I love the fresh strawberry. I think they’re perfect together, and a little goes a long way.

How Many Tastes There Are?

There are currently 1,178 types of pop-tarts. That’s a lot! While the number of pop-tarts have increased over the years, the ingredients for making pop-tarts have been relatively unchanged. In the 1920s, for example, there were 5 ingredients, including shortening, sugar, cocoa, skim milk, and baker’s yeast. In the 1960s, the ingredients were expanded to include cocoa, shortening, sugar, skim milk, corn syrup, and leavening. A more recent addition is butter, which was first used in the 1980s.
