What To Do With A Watermelon
In terms of total calories, a half-cup serving of watermelon is equivalent to about 32 calories. Watermelons are rich in antioxidants, which may help with reducing the risk of cancer. They also provide vitamin C, which may help with the prevention of respiratory infections and reduce blood pressure.
How To Make A Watermelon Ice
In a blender, add a cup of water, one small piece of unwaxed watermelon, one piece of peeled lemon, one cup of your favorite diet drink (or water) and blend. Use the same amount of water as you would if making a fruit smoothie. Pour into a half-pint freezer bag or a glass jar. Freeze until firm. You can drink it right out of the bag or jar, or transfer to a blender and add some diet drink. To serve, place in an ice cube tray or an ice pop mold.
Carb Counts of Food
Watermelon is a juicy summer treat. It’s sweet, refreshing and low in calories. In fact, the average serving of this fruit contains about nine percent of your daily vitamin C intake. Watermelon is a very low-calorie food, but it’s also a very high-calorie fruit. It contains between 54 and 103 calories per medium-sized cup. As you might have guessed, most of these calories come from the seeds.
Does Watermelon Have Too Many Carb Counts?
Watermelon is a fruit that contains many different carbs. It is a good source of carbohydrates, and there are no more than 10 grams of carbs in each half of a medium watermelon. This means that half a watermelon is about 10 grams of carbs, so eating a watermelon gives you about 20 grams of carbs. You can increase the carbs in watermelon by eating more of it, and you can decrease the carbs in watermelon by eating less of it. For example, if you eat only a few slices of watermelon, you will still get about 20 grams of carbs from the whole watermelon. It would be more effective for you to get your carbs from other sources.
