Ingredients: 2 cups of ice 2 cups of watermelon Puree (1 cup diced watermelon, 1 cup chilled water) 1/2 cup of simple syrup (sugar, water, and a dash of salt) and then you just mix it all up and serve. You can substitute this for most flavored drinks and it’s really sweet!

They also provide vitamin C, which may help with the prevention of respiratory infections and reduce blood pressure.

How To Make A Watermelon Ice

In a blender, add a cup of water, one small piece of unwaxed watermelon, one piece of peeled lemon, one cup of your favorite diet drink (or water) and blend. Use the same amount of water as you would if making a fruit smoothie. Pour into a half-pint freezer bag or a glass jar. Freeze until firm. You can drink it right out of the bag or jar, or transfer to a blender and add some diet drink. To serve, place in an ice cube tray or an ice pop mold.
