Pork tenderloin is one of my favorite cuts of meat. If you enjoy pork tenderloin, you’ll love this recipe for it. It requires a few ingredients that are easy to find in the supermarket. It also only needs to be done a few hours before serving.
How to Cook Pork Tenderloin
Pork tenderloin is a lean and tasty cut of meat. It’s often cut into steaks, which are a good size for cooking in the slow cooker. Pork tenderloin can easily be cooked in a crock pot as well. You’ll just need to chop the tenderloin into steaks. Combine the cut tenderloin with: 1/4 cup apple juice, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon liquid smoke, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. Cook on high for 3 hours or until a thermometer placed in the thickest part registers 170 degrees. Remove the tenderloin from the pot and let it cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
What you need
This is a good recipe for when you have guests over and need to feed them all. They will all be able to take leftovers home.
* command -i: irc bot (that’s why it doesn’t need to be made into a pkg)
* pkg -i: package for installing the bot on all Ubuntu hosts
* install -r: superuser (that’s why it’s run with sudo before apt-get)
* If you’re using a different version of Linux, change the file paths accordingly
* There’s also a package that the bot can install into your $PATH (Ubuntu by default, not CentOS)
* Enable the repo, refresh if it doesn’t pull down
* Install the bot
* The bot won’t start immediately as it needs to be told what it’s IP address and username are
* add the bot to the host’s irc.ubuntu.com channel on port 6667, with the username as the value in the text box, and the bot’s IP in the one after the slash
* If you want to keep your bot up to date, refresh and you’ll be good
* I do need to point out that you should use a bot with some restraint. It’s against the ToS of the site for a reason. The bots here just tend to do silly things, so don’t be surprised if you get banned, a very long and expensive
Turn the oven on
Turn the oven to 400. Next, open the package of tenderloins and wash them thoroughly under running water. Pat dry.
Ingredients
Pork tenderloin cooks quickly in a crock pot, and the flavors are good. Pork tenderloin will cook in about 4 hours, but this can vary. Make sure you cook it until it reaches 165°F in order to be safe.
