How To Make Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cups cooked chicken or 2 cups raw
(beef or turkey)
1 cup fresh or frozen corn
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup celery
2 cups broth (chicken or vegetable)
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups water
Directions:
Cook and chop chicken, then set aside. Cook onion, celery and half of the onion in the broth over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until softened. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Puree until smooth. (I used my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, and also used a hand blender to puree the soup, adding it to the chicken mixture after I had cooked the veggies and broth).
