That’s because it’s so much easier to relax when you’re not hungry. That’s why I’m here to talk about how to prepare for labor. You can see how you’ll feel at different times during your labor, so I’m going to go through some of the best ways to prepare. First, you’ll need to get lots of rest and exercise. Your body needs more than 8 hours of sleep, but during labor you’ll only need about 4 to 5. Exercising should also help. When you’re running low on energy, it’s important to start moving and exercising early, so you’ll have energy for the whole labor. Avoid stressful situations. Many of the common fears people have about labor and childbirth aren’t true. For example, stress isn’t harmful to the baby and labor is rarely painful. This means you can do anything to relax during labor. Another good idea is to eat. Eating is important for the baby and for you. You can do anything, including eat, when in labor. Tips For An Easier Labor

How To Make Your Labor Easier

I was the only one to enter the hospital with my labor and delivery. I couldn’t eat, go to the bathroom, or do anything that would have made things easier. I couldn’t do anything, other than lie there and wait for my body to do the rest. My belly was huge, but my water hadn’t broken yet, so I wasn’t dilated enough for an epidural.
