I ended up eating a lot of salads and vegetables, and only cooked in the evenings. I found that I loved the slower pace of eating, and the feeling of preparing meals together. However, some of my coworkers didn’t realize I was pregnant and started asking me if I could “eat in the kitchen.” This was a source of constant frustration for me, so I decided to try to explain that to them.
