Ingredients:
•2 cups whole wheat flour
•½ cup sugar
•2 tsp. baking powder
•¼ cup canola oil
•1 cup mashed banana
•2 eggs
•½ cup buttermilk
•¼ tsp. salt
•1 tsp. vanilla extract
How to: Preheat your bread machine to bake loaf bread.
•Place the whole wheat flour, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl. Mix with a whisk to combine.
•Add the oil, bananas, eggs, and buttermilk and mix with a whisk.
•Add the salt and vanilla and mix.
•Place the flour mixture into your bread machine according to the recipe you use. This recipe calls for a bread machine with a dough proof cycle. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. You may need to adjust the ingredients if your bread machine does not have a dough proof cycle.
•After the dough proof cycle is complete, remove the bread from the machine. Place the dough on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
•Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top of the bread is golden. Remove the bread from the oven and cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
