How to Cook Pizza
Making pizza is a great way to use the whole wheat flour at home. It’s relatively easy and can even be fun to make. Once you make pizza at home, you’ll find yourself thinking that you need to make more pizza. Plus, you’ll love that the whole wheat flour helps make it healthier. To make your own pizza, start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees. Put the pizza stone inside the oven and let it heat for at least 30 minutes. Once the oven is heated, put your whole wheat flour in a bowl. Take a large oven mitt and hold the pizza stone. Pour a bit of olive oil on top of your whole wheat flour. Work your fingers through the flour, making sure to break up any lumps. Then, pour your whole wheat flour into a glass with a fine-mesh strainer on top. Using the pizza stone, drop the pizza stone into the middle of your flour. Gently push the stone down in order to spread out the flour. Press down the stone firmly into the flour, so that it stays in place. In the meantime, take out a bowl and put your pizza dough in it. Now, add salt and a little bit of olive oil to the dough.
