How much are they paying me?
If you are an hourly employee, you can look at your pay rate in the new hours sheet that was put into place at the beginning of the year. If you work overtime, you should be paid for that extra time. If you do not work overtime, you will not be paid. If you do not work overtime, you should not expect to be paid for hours that you worked in the weeks prior to your first one. You will be paid for the first week of your shift. For salaried employees, you will be paid for the first 4 hours of the first day you worked in the pay period you are paid for. At AutoZone, we have one standard pay period per month. You will be paid on the 10th of the month. The exact amount that you are paid will be displayed on your paystub.
Are You Eligible for the Mileage Plan?
AutoZone is a third party to a unionized employee group, the Automotive Teamsters Union Local No. 337. As such, we are bound by the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). As an employee of AutoZone, you will have health insurance benefits through the AutoZone company-sponsored insurance plan. This plan provides major medical and hospitalization coverage with a $250 deductible per person and $500 deductible per family, and limited coverage for surgery, specialty care, dental and vision. Premiums are based on your age and gender and will vary according to your income level. You are eligible for the AutoZone company-sponsored insurance plan if you are a full-time, full-year employee with 25 or more qualifying days of employment. When Does AutoZone Pay Employees?
What do employees get paid when they are waiting on a customer? This is a question that has been asked a number of times by autozone employee. Autozone pays employees when there is a time that a customer is waiting on the floor or to be processed. On the floor, the employees are expected to stand idle and monitor the customer. When a customer is ready, the employee will let the customer know that they are ready. Once the customer is ready, the employee will then greet them and then lead them to their car. While the customer is waiting, the employee is expected to be idle. This is a unique job and one that offers employees a lot of flexibility. This is one of the reasons that autozone employees prefer it.
