In the 12 months to October, the company lost a total of $1.2 billion, which was $32 million a month and put it in serious financial trouble. That’s bad news for Pizza Hut workers and for its pensioners. The company struggled to fight its way out of bankruptcy, and as of early 2015, had taken a number of cost-cutting measures in an effort to improve its financial state.
What should you do when a company closes

It is with great sadness that Pizza Hut now has to close for good. Pizza Hut remains a great brand, and has been part of the Australian culture. The brand will however remain as a premium healthy food brand. This year has been a tough year for Pizza Hut. A study in May revealed that the company’s sales in Australia have fallen 10.7% and Pizza Hut is now the worst performing brand in Australia. This has also been reflected in poor results in its revenue and earnings in Australia.
