What Is Ramadan?

The Qur’an also mentions how to measure the days of the month in which the month of Ramadan starts. It tells Muslims to start counting the days of the month after sunset, which is when the sun sets. This means that Muslims do not eat, drink, or have sex during the daytime hours of the month of Ramadan.
Is It Harmful to Eat During Ramadan?
You may be wondering whether it’s harmful to eat during Ramadhan. The answer is ‘no.’ This is true because if eating was prohibited, then Islam would lack food. Thus, it is harmful for Muslims to refrain from eating during the fasting month. For one, the fast is meant to teach Muslims that they should not depend on food to sustain them. It’s also meant to teach them to rely on God for all of their needs.
How Can Muslims Eat During Ramadan?

They include pickles, sauces, nuts, and herbs. It is important to drink plenty of water and to eat and drink after the period of fasting has ended.
