Here’s how it works. When you order take out, you probably choose from a number of different types of pasta, including penne, fusilli, and rotini. But, some dishes are made better with particular types of pasta. Chicken alfredo is traditionally served with fusilli. And, although you can enjoy your favorite pasta with a variety of sauces, when you order the popular dish, the chef usually uses Italian-style tomato sauce. Spaghetti is better with tomato sauce, but a number of sauces are good choices. Try these with your favorite pasta.
Flavors Of Taco Spaghetti
For many people, taco spaghetti is the perfect go to when they’re looking for a quick and easy meal. It’s made from spaghetti that’s topped with taco seasoning. While this dish usually only contains one or two types of taco seasoning, you can use as much or as little as you like. Mix together a large can of chili, some ketchup, and as much or as little red pepper flakes, ground cumin, and paprika as you want. Spread the mixture on the spaghetti, top it with some shredded cheese and bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Of course, this dish is far from authentic, but it can be a delicious way to use up extra ingredients in your kitchen.

How to Make Taco Spaghetti
Just like I did for my spaghetti and meatballs recipe, I also made taco spaghetti for dinner tonight. Here’s what I did. First, I made a batch of spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs. While the spaghetti was cooking, I mixed together a can of refried beans, a can of corn, and a jar of salsa. After the spaghetti was done, I poured the beans mixture over it and topped it with shredded cheese. I baked the whole thing for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Once the spaghetti was done, I served it with the beans mixture and a green salad. I served the rest of the soup with tortilla chips.
