Whatever you decide to serve with pizza at a birthday party, here’s a quick guide on how to pick the right menu.
Good things to serve with pizza
Good things to serve with pizza can include: Balsamic vinegar (a sweet and sour sauce that adds a lot of flavour to the pizza) Italian salad (a salad that adds a great balance of protein and carbs to the pizza) Rocket (used as a pizza topping, because it adds a lot of taste and is a great vegetarian food) Celery (which is low in calories, high in vitamins and has a great taste) Pepperoni (used to add protein to the pizza, although it is quite high in fat) Olive oil (a good source of fat, which is also high in vitamins) Goat cheese (this would be a great choice, because it is rich in protein)
Pizza Party Favorites
Pasta Pizza is always a hit with kids. It is a versatile dish that can be used as a starter, snack or as a main course. Most of the time, pizza will be accompanied by a red sauce with tomato, cheese, and meat. To make this more interesting, try adding different toppings. There are some great kid friendly toppings such as pasta, cheese, olives, artichokes, mushrooms, etc. When selecting the perfect pizza toppings, remember that kids love crunchy things and even veggies. Be sure to pick something that won’t get in their mouths. You can also try making smaller pizzas to cut down on the amount of toppings that kids will eat.
Pizza is Pizza
The best thing to serve with pizza is probably the crust. Since it contains the highest percentage of calories, I recommend serving it in its own bowl. Some people may find that they prefer their pizza with thin crust pizza, while others enjoy a thicker crust pizza. Personally, I like thin crust pizza, but if you’re not fond of it, you can always opt for the thicker crust pizza.
Pizza party ideas
Often, when you serve pizza at a birthday party, you want to serve a wide variety of toppings. There are lots of different combinations that you can come up with. But that doesn’t mean you have to go with just one combination. Here are some ideas on how you can make it easier to serve different combinations at your next pizza party.
Pizza party games
When I was growing up, my birthday was always celebrated with pizza. My father even spent much of his life working for Domino’s. So, I grew up knowing pizza as part of my birthday celebration. I’ve now hosted pizza parties at the homes of many of my friends. At one party, I served pizza on a giant mushroom. At another, I made a giant cheeseburger with different toppings. I made a vegetable pizza with vegetables from the garden, and I was able to make dessert pizza, too. So, if you’re looking for something different, you can easily make pizza for a birthday party.
