Fatty acids include ketone bodies. The ketogenic diet, or “keto” diet, is a very low-carbohydrate diet, which is high in fat. The keto diet was designed to mimic the diet of a wild animal. Typically, wild animals will eat a diet that is very high in fat, with only small amounts of carbohydrates. The keto diet is not a new diet, but instead is based on the highly effective Mediterranean diet.
How To Find Your Perfect Fat Ratio
Have you plateaued on keto? Maybe you’ve been on the diet for a while, but haven’t been able to lose weight? Plateauing on keto can be frustrating. But don’t give up. If you’re plateauing, there’s probably an easy way to break out of it. When you’re on keto, your body has a different nutritional profile than it does when you’re not on keto.
