What temperature for slow cooking?
Cooking at low temperature is similar to cooking in the oven: the meat is cooked in it without liquid. The difference is in the temperature. As its name suggests, the temperature remains constantly low, namely around 80° C, during low temperature cooking.
How to know the cooking temperature?
Once you have inserted the thermometer into the food, you can measure the internal temperature. This measurement is especially important for large cuts of meat, such as a whole turkey or chicken, if you want to be sure that the food has cooked in the oven evenly, all the way through.
