When we go to bed, food is often consumed as we sleep. By the time we wake up, we’re hungry again, and it’s hard to resist reaching out for a snack to satisfy our hunger. However, it’s important to be aware of the foods you eat in the morning. By trying to follow a balanced diet, you’ll be able to cut back on unwanted fats and sugars, while increasing the likelihood of a healthy breakfast.
Toast Bread
Toast bread is a bit like toast that’s been left in the toaster. This is because your toaster is still heating the bread after you put it in it. The longer the bread is left in the toaster, the hotter it gets, which is why the bread becomes more crispy. Although toast bread is a bit like toast that’s been left in the toaster, toast bread is a bit more likely to burn and spoil. Most toasters have a 30 minute timer, and the bread can only be left in the toaster for a maximum of 30 minutes. After this time, you’ll need to turn the toaster off and wait for the toast bread to cool.
Dirty Bread
If your bread gets a little toasted it does not hurt. You can eat it and it may taste good. If it is too charred it will taste like ash. This is called pyrolysis. Most things in the world that we touch, or that touch us are going to affect us in some way.
Butter
Butter is made from milk that has been curdled and then churned. When it is churned, milk proteins form a solid mat known as butter. This is why butter can be solid at room temperature. If you eat food left out overnight, it can get very soft. This softness allows water to move into the air spaces inside the food. This change in density can cause a decrease in the amount of butter inside the food. This process is called “salting out”.
Spreading
If you’ve ever heard of Spreading, then you know it means the opposite of “contagion”. And contagion is what happens when germs or viruses spread from one person to another. Spreading means germs or viruses spread to or from themselves. Spreading can be caused by either environmental factors or proximity. Environmental factors can include the temperature, humidity, and air quality. Proximity is typically due to the fact that the spreader is within range of the recipient. Spreading can also occur when a germy item comes into contact with a germ-free object. The result of this can be spreading of germs between two things.
Butter & Jam
Have you ever found an old sandwich or toast sitting around in your fridge that you haven’t eaten? But why would you not eat that? It’s probably not dirty or moldy, it’s just to early in the morning for you to eat those. So what do you do with it? You need to clean it up and put it back in the fridge or freezer! Why not eat it? It’s probably been sitting there for an extended period of time, and you want to make sure it doesn’t go bad. So what’s the best way to preserve it? Use the miracle of science, the freezer! By freezing the food, it will preserve it. Not only will it make sure that the food stays fresh longer, but you can throw it in a smoothie or eat it cold. If you aren’t going to be making smoothies or eating it cold, you can toss it in the microwave. You want to microwave it for about 45 seconds, and then put it back in the freezer.
