The Real Monster

The mysterious monster from the Zoro of the Shichifukujin was actually named Diamante. This monster was based on what they call a “Devil Fruit”. The fruit is essentially a supernatural power that grants the person who eats it the ability to see the spiritual realm. Because of this, Zoro had the ability to make illusions, which he used to trick the human race to follow him to the Monster Realm. The Monster Realm is actually where the souls of the dead reside. This is why Zoro is also called a “ghost type”. He was able to talk to spirits because they were still living in the Monster Realm. In the movie, Zoro also uses a spell called “Jouto”, which is the ability to summon animals and use them as a weapon. This is why he’s also called “Jouto”.
