How Do We Treat This?
The best way to treat heat intolerance is to drink plenty of cool drinks and keep hydrated. This will help to prevent the body from becoming dehydrated, which can lead to heat exhaustion. Heat intolerance can be caused by lack of proper nutrition. If you are constantly thirsty and not eating enough food, you can develop heat intolerance. In addition, there are also a few other causes of heat intolerance. For example, high-blood pressure and mental stress can cause a rise in your heart rate and blood pressure, which can cause a rise in your body temperature. Also, dehydration can cause a rise in your body temperature.
What are the symptoms?
When you have heat intolerance, you’ll find that the temperature in your body rises even if the temperature around you is relatively cool. These symptoms include a headache, fatigue, sweating, dizziness, and upset stomach. Another symptom is a dry mouth, which is most likely to occur when you have heat intolerance when you’re dehydrated. In rare cases, heat intolerance can lead to seizures. The most common cause of heat intolerance is dehydration. Heat intolerance may also be caused by low levels of sodium in the blood.
Do we have a deficiency?
While our body can adapt to heat and cold by using its internal thermoregulatory mechanisms, we can also have a deficiency which makes us more sensitive to heat. Some people are born with a genetic disposition that causes this to happen. Other causes of heat intolerance include dehydration, poor diet, excessive exercise and sleep deprivation.
