These can cause your blood sugar levels to spike and can make you feel more tired.

As we have discussed, energy comes from three sources: glucose, ketones, and ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). Glucose is the most common source of energy for your body, and is what we are usually referring to when we say that you feel “full” or “like you have energy.” However, when you eat carbohydrates that are digested quickly, and you don’t burn off the glucose in your body quickly enough, it will begin to convert to glycogen. Glucose and glycogen are stored in your muscles. When you need energy, you are able to access the glucose from your muscle glycogen, and it begins to convert back to glucose, your body will release glycogen back into your bloodstream to be used again. If you store too much glucose, it can lead to high blood glucose, and eventually, diabetes.

There are many things that can cause fatigue. For example, you could be suffering from depression or anxiety. You could be tired from lack of sleep or poor diet. You could also be tired from lack of exercise.
