Prayer

Prayer is the language that we use to communicate with God. It is a way of expressing our concern and communicating with God. When we pray we use a variety of words to describe the things that we are thinking and feeling. These include thoughts, questions, intentions, and requests. We can pray in English, in other languages such as Spanish or Italian, and even in other religious languages such as Aramaic or Arabic. We can also pray in silence. This means that you don’t have to say anything to God. We can simply focus on what we feel, think, and pray about.

Jesus loves his family, and they do the same to him. To Jesus, this is love, not only for God, but love for family. So, how can we show love for God and our family? The fruits of the spirit describe how Jesus loved. It includes traits such as: self-control, contentment, joy, goodness, friendliness, gentleness and love. All of these are a part of loving God and our families. Jesus loved us by loving us and how we love our family. We can show this love by being compassionate, honest, understanding, patient and kind. Jesus said he is the one who shows us how we should love.

Someone who is joyful is someone who experiences more of this love. Jesus was a model of joy. When we follow in his example, we too can be joyful.
