How to Identify Langostino Tails?
Langostino tails are a characteristic of langostino fish. If you’ve seen langostino tails, you should be able to identify them as the tongue and the soft lips are extended into a shape that makes them look like tails. The langostino is the only member of the family Percidae, but it is sometimes referred to as the “sea slug.” Like other langostino species, langostino fish are also known to have one or two dorsal fins, no dorsal spines, and a bony circulatory system.
