I just can’t seem to get enough of tuna casserole. It is one of my all-time favorite comfort food. It is also delicious warm or at room temperature, which makes it the perfect easy weeknight dinner. I have found some of my favorite ways to make this recipe. In this section, you will find one of my most-often used recipes.

Ingredients

Ingredients:
3 cans of condensed tomato soup
1 can of tuna (canned)
2 cups of elbow macaroni
1 can of mixed vegetables
3 pieces of lasagna
1 can of corn
1 cup of shredded cheese
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Put the macaroni in a bowl with a little water. Bring to a boil, and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Drain macaroni and place in a 9×13 baking dish.
Put tomato soup in a saucepan with the corn and mixed vegetables. Stir and bring to a boil. Add the canned tuna and mix well. Pour the mixture over the macaroni.
Put cheese on top of the macaroni and bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.

Preparation time

Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 10 oz can condensed tomato soup
1 10 oz can condensed mushroom soup
1 10 oz can condensed chicken noodle soup
1 cup hot water
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
½ teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons butter
1 8 oz can tuna (drained)
1 cup cold milk
½ cup dry bread crumbs
½ cup cornmeal
Directions:
1. Chop the onion.
2. Heat the oil and saute the onion in a skillet.
3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
4. Mix the sour cream with the milk and set aside.
5. Spread the breadcrumbs in a 9-inch square baking dish.
6. Combine the tuna, breadcrumbs, cornmeal, and milk in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thickened.
7. Spread the mixture over the bottom of the prepared casserole.
8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly.
