How To Make Tomato Soup

This is a simple tomato soup recipe. You can also make this with fresh tomatoes, but canned tomatoes are much easier. So, how do you make a tomato soup like this? First, you need to open up a can of diced tomatoes. Then, open up a can of condensed tomato soup. Next, combine the canned tomatoes and soup. Add some water, and then add some salt, pepper and onion. Use the blender to blend the mixture together. You can garnish the soup with shredded cheese, croutons or sour cream.

Tomato Soup Recipe Tips

This is my family’s recipe for tomato soup that I use when I make a big batch. It makes a lot, so you can freeze it for later. It’s easy to make, but it does require some prep work. It uses both canned tomatoes and tomato paste. Canned tomatoes are fine to use, but you may need to add some tomato paste if they are out. You’ll also need some dried basil, but not the powdered variety. Once you have all of that, you can make the soup. 1. Heat the oil in a large pot. 2. Sauté the onion, carrots and celery over medium heat until they soften and begin to turn golden. 3. Add the garlic and tomato paste and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, basil, and water. 4. Simmer the soup for 1-2 hours, then puree it in the blender or food processor. 5. Serve it with pasta, French bread, or bread sticks. 6. Add some cheese if you like.
