The other day I went to a shop to purchase a new pan. But upon visiting the shop, I realized there was no non-stick pots on the shelves. After some questioning, the shop assistant asked me why I was buying a non-stick pot. So, I explained to her why I was so interested in it. The shop assistant was a little confused and said that she didn’t think any non-stick pots existed. But then she gave me an explanation for why they didn’t. She explained that non-stick pots were created in the 1990’s and hadn’t been used for a long time. She added that because they haven’t been used for such a long time, the paint used to make them won’t be as durable as standard pots. This is a valid explanation, but I was disappointed when she said that I was just wasting my money on a non-stick pot, because there was no reason to use one.

Metal vs Glass
