Rotisserie Chicken

For this video, I chose to roast a whole chicken in the oven. I chose this method because it allowed me to do the whole cooking process from start to finish and at the same time, I could use every bit of it. First, I began to wash and rinse the chicken, then I separated the chicken’s body from its head. I removed the chicken’s innards and then I patted it dry. Once I had finished washing the chicken, I placed the chicken into the bottom of a roasting pan. I placed the roasting pan into a roasting tin, then I placed the roasting tin into the oven. I then began the roast process by turning the oven to 500°F. I left the chicken in the oven for a total of one hour. During the time that the chicken was roasting, I did a thorough house cleaning and made a pot of coffee. After one hour, the chicken was done, so I removed it from the oven and took it out of the pan. I removed the pan from the roasting tin, and then I washed out the pan. I then put the chicken back into the pan and wrapped it in aluminum foil.

The Pot Roast

Prep a pot roast, there are many roasting methods that you can do. Roasting is a low and slow method. This method of cooking involves placing the meat in a large pan with lots of dry heat and slow cooking. If you do this, the meat will be tender and flavorful. Most of the fat will be rendered, which is the fat that collects in the top of the pot. This fat can be used to make gravy or other sauces. Simply remove the fat before serving. The other benefit of roasting is that the meat will become drier and more flavorful. Some other advantages of roasting are that the oven is clean, and there is no splatter. There are many different cuts of meat that can be roasted. One of the most commonly used cuts is the chuck roast. This is a big and thick cut that is mostly lean and has little fat. Another great cut to roast is short ribs.
