Roasting the chicken is easy and you can do it in a microwave or oven. Roasting whole chicken is a bit difficult but, you should not have to roast the whole chicken because you can remove the bone and you can use the meat from the bones.

Brining the Chicken

Brining is a process where a food is submerged in a solution that is saltier than regular water. This process leads to the food tasting more flavorful. This is because brining causes the food to absorb the salt solution. Although this process is simple and inexpensive, it can be time-consuming. It’s also important to know how to properly brine the food. An easy way to brine a chicken is to fill a large roasting pan with salted water. Bring the water to a boil, then add the chicken to the pan. Cover the pan and let the chicken simmer for about an hour. This is the key to brining; to prevent the chicken from drying out and to ensure the salt penetrates all of the pieces.

*Disclaimer – I am not a chef. I also know little to nothing about roasting chicken. My chicken did not come out perfect, but I think it was tasty. It took almost an hour to roast, and this may have been a contributing factor to the falling internal temperature that I experienced. So I can’t guarantee that you will end up with perfectly cooked, crispy skin and juicy chicken, but I can guarantee that you will make some delicious chicken with the best pan sauce you ever have made.
