There are an impressive variety of potions that players can discover and concoct in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator. Some of the best potions are popular among the townsfolk, giving the player a steady revenue stream. Others are useful as regents for more complicated future concoctions.
Part of the learning curve in Potion Craft is the customer service angle, and making potions on demand for customers. Certain formulas are more popular than others. It’s important to record these kinds of recipes in the Recipe Book so that the player can make them quickly and more efficiently upon request.
8/8 Potion Of Poisoning
Poison can be used for a variety of things. Some patrons will complain about vermin, while others will openly declare their intention to kill someone. Regardless of their stated motives, it’s up to the Alchemist to choose whether to fulfill such a request, especially from a suspicious customer.
Plenty of legitimate customers ask for poison, and because of the placement of the formula on the map near the center, it’s one of the first recipes players will discover. Acid and Fire, which are also useful, are found in this part of the map as well.
7/8 Potion Of Health
One of the easiest potions to make and one of the most popular, it is best to discover this formula early and record the recipe as soon as possible. It’s conveniently near the center of the map, to the southeast, a direction that leads to other beneficial potions.
The Potion of Health is so close to the center of the map that recording a recipe for it isn’t really needed. On the other hand, it’s asked for so often that it’s worth recording just to speed up the Alchemist’s response time.
6/8 Potion Of Dexterity
Sometimes, a patron who visits the shop will describe the need to climb some difficult terrain or get an edge on their hunting skills. What they want is a potion of Dexterity, and the recipe is located almost due east of the center of the map.
The symbol for this potion is an animal’s footprint, which makes it even more confusing. This potion is in high demand, and when combined with other handy abilities like strength or swiftness, patrons are willing to pay more.
5/8 Potion Of Strength
One of the most versatile alchemy recipes that players learn early in the game, the Potion of Strength is great on its own but even more popular when combined with other skills like Stone Skin or Agility. These are located in the same part of the map.
Warriors and fighters will ask for it first, but other patrons that ask for potions with passive abilities like Stone Skin or Wild Growth will settle for combination potions that include Strength. Rage is another good choice, especially for a fighter, but it’s tougher to make and requires a longer route to map out.
4/8 Potion Of Light
This one isn’t exactly the most popular potion, but it’s handy to keep nearby when the mining dwarf comes to town. The gemstones he carries are the only way to plot a route on the map past the potion-killer sections of skulls and bones, and this is one of the potions he often requests.
Being a miner, the dwarf is often digging in dark places where it’s dangerous to have anything with an open flame, like lanterns or torches. He needs something that gives light but doesn’t burn, which perfectly describes the Potion of Light.
3/8 Potion Of Stone Skin
The second favorite of warriors, this one is also in high demand for farmers and foragers who are fighting mosquitos and bees. It’s a potion with various uses, that anyone can ask for, and therefore one of the best potions to keep in the recipe book.
Find the recipe for the Potion of Stone Skin in the southern part of the map with other passive and defensive abilities. Combine it with strength or swiftness for the discerning warrior or hunter.
2/8 Potion Of Wild Growth
Reputation and Popularity and important features of the game, and measure how local folks feel about their friendly neighborhood Alchemist. Make nice with the peasants and farmers by having a recipe for the Potion of Wild Growth available to help grow crops, cattle, and other useful plants.
The customers that ask for this potion are also of the humble sort, but they still have resources for stronger and more complicated tinctures. Combine the Potion of Wild Growth with Swiftness or Strength to impress them and feel less guilty about taking their money.
1/8 Potion of Libido
The Potion of Charm is a close second to this one. It’s not a coincidence that they’re both in the same part of the map, separated only by the recipe for a Rage Potion. However, this one takes a page from real life, and between the three, the Potion of Libido gets the most attention.
This potion is also one of the most difficult to reach early in the game before the Alchemist meets the mining dwarf and discovers the magic of gemstones. It’s worth the trouble to find it and save it, not only for the time it saves mapping it out again, but also for the gold that it’s worth.
