You can use any color of sugar, as well, but I highly recommend using the color of sugar called “pecan,” as it is the true flavor of pecans.

How to Make Pecan Powdered Sugar Cookies

I know what you’re thinking. This recipe doesn’t look very exciting. After all, there’s no chopping of nuts or chopping of chocolate. But I promise that these cookies aren’t boring. These are the best pecan powdered sugar cookies. They have the perfect ratio of saltiness and sweetness.
The first thing you’ll want to do is melt your butter and add it to a bowl. As the butter begins to soften, add in the molasses. Mix in the salt and the vanilla. Now, add in the flour and mix the two together. Once you have combined the butter and molasses into the flour, you will then add in your white chocolate. You’ll then blend that mixture together. Now, set that aside and add the pecans into the mixture. In a separate bowl, you’ll mix the eggs with the vanilla and powdered sugar. Once everything is combined, pour your egg mixture into the flour and pecan mixture. It’s best to do it in alternating layers, starting with the flour and pecans and then the egg mixture. Once everything is combined, you will add in your white chocolate chips. You’ll then mix everything together.
Now, you can place your cookie dough into the fridge and let it chill for at least half an hour or longer. After that, you’ll take your dough out of the fridge and roll them into balls.
