Oven Roasted Chicken
[Ingredients]: 1.5 kg Whole Chicken (Pref. 4 kg for Roasting)
2.1 litre Stock
1.2 litre Thinly sliced carrots
1.1 litre Thinly sliced cabbage
1.1 litre Thinly sliced onion
[Instructions]: 1. Preheat oven to 250°C.
2. Rinse and pat dry the chicken.
3. Place the chicken in a baking tray and pour the stock in the bottom of the tray.
4. Bake for 35 minutes.
5. Remove the baking tray from oven and flip the chicken over.
6. Pour the rest of the stock into the baking tray.
7. Bake for 35 minutes.
8. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter and cut the chicken into pieces.
9. Add the carrots, cabbage and onion to the baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
10. Remove the carrots, cabbage and onion from the tray and keep aside.
11. Pour the stock in the tray and bake for another 35 minutes.
12. Pour the remaining stock in the tray and bake for another 35 minutes.
13. Remove the carrots, cabbage and onion from the tray and keep aside.
