This will also make it easier to measure the beans. Step 2: Once you have ground the beans, you will need to measure out half a cup. Step 3: Next, you will want to add the half cup of ground beans into a pot. Then, you will want to fill the pot with water and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, you will want to turn down the heat. Then, you will want to simmer the beans for 30 minutes. Step 4: After 30 minutes, you will want to drain the beans. Then, you will want to add 1/2 a cup of oil. Then, you will want to heat the beans up again. You will repeat this process three more times. Step 5: Once you have boiled the beans three times, you will want to drain them. Then, you will want to add 1/2 a cup of butter. The beans should start to bubble when the butter is added.
